We know, we know, policies seem sooooo corporate – but they are necessary! Here is a run down of our policies here at Beavers ‘n Bears Wax Bar. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!




If you are booking your first appointment with us, you will be asked to provide a credit card number to reserve your appointment. In addition to this, we also ask for your full name, an email address, and contact phone number to reach you at, just in case we need to get in touch! Those without a credit card will be invited to take a chance at dropping in as a walk-in guest or to pre-pay their service at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.


Please plan to arrive a few minutes early (5-10 mins before your appointment). This will allow you enough time to fill out your client intake form, find parking (note: we have a 2-level parkade in behind the building, or there is parking along Weld Street) and will provide us enough time to get you set up and comfortable for your first service.



We understand that sometimes “life happens”. Please call us if you are expecting to be late for your reserved appointment time. We will always do our best to accommodate you.


Depending on how much time we have left in your appointment and when the next guest is scheduled to arrive, a partial service may be offered or we may have to reschedule your appointment in order to allow enough time to properly disinfect and set up for our next client.




24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling requests.


Life gets busy and our plates get full. We understand. Really, we do. If you’re unable to make your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice, and we will be happy to accommodate you.


We have saved a spot just for you and it’s a total bummer if you don’t show up! It leaves our estheticians with empty appointment times and we may have to turn away other clients that could have enjoyed that time slot. Because of this, clients that do not honour their appointments will be charged the following cancellation fees:


All NO-SHOWS will result in 100% of the service price charged.

All LATE CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES (less than 24 hours prior to your appointment and same day appointments) will be charged a service fee of 50%


We will remind you of your appointment time, however if you miss the message or do not confirm, you are still considered to be booked in for your appointment. Beavers ‘n Bears Wax Bar Inc. is not responsible should you forget your appointment, mix up the time, get called into work, etc.


Please note: if you have more than one ‘no-show’ or ‘late cancellation’ on record, you may be required to pre-pay for future reservations.


Over 12, but under 16:


Select waxing services may be permitted to guests over the age of 12 if we have written consent from a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must be present for the initial service. Permission will be recorded in the client profile.


Over 16, but still a minor:

Guests over 16 years of age may receive a bikini waxing service, with written consent from a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian must be present for the initial service. Permission will be recorded in the client profile.


We do not provide any Brazilian waxing for clients under 18 years of age.




We know…we know. No one likes paperwork (especially us), but for our mutual protection, it is required. We promise – it does not take long to complete the consent form, and we want to be sure you understand the risks to each service. This form includes a medical history so that we can be sure there are no contraindications to providing your service.



Privacy and comfort go both ways; therefore, no photos and/or videos are permitted inside the treatment room. Please enjoy this time to disconnect from your electronic device.


Only one client is permitted inside the treatment room at a time (due to the size of the room and for client privacy). The only exception to this is if a parent or guardian is to be present for the service, or if a child under the age of 10 is accompanying you to your appointment. We do not provide child minding services in the lobby area.


Non-service animals are not permitted inside the treatment room.




Unopened products may be returned within 30 days of purchase if you have your original receipt.
